Rules and fees change. Spiral Search is an independent directory and is not a government agency. Confirm current requirements with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) or your county tax collector before you go.

Florida charges a base annual registration fee by net weight of the vehicle. The vehicle's value does not change the registration fee. Value matters at the time you buy or title a vehicle, because sales tax is based on the purchase price.
